- Water is the main constituent of blood and so helps the body transport oxygen from the lungs to the organs and plays a major part in digesting food.
- Water naturally moisturises skin and ensures proper cellular formation underneath layers of skin to give it a healthy, glowing appearance.
- More chlorine enters the body through dermal absorption and inhalation while showering than through drinking tap water.
- Soft drinks, coffee, and tea, while made up almost entirely of water, also contain caffeine. Caffeine can act as a mild diuretic, preventing water from travelling to necessary locations in the body.
